The Novels in the Closet

I've always been daydreaming and telling stories.  Bit by bit (be patient!  I have to save time to write!) I'll add brief descriptions of my novels.  Unpublished as yet, but I hope they won't be posthumous...

Working with Linda Hutcheon, alpha reader and wizard editor, on Out of Nature, about a kid with a hair-raising Instagram profile, stranded by the pandemic lockdown with her eccentric grandmother, in a house cluttered with the magical curios and books of her late great-great-great aunt, actress and occultist.

Now spiritualism is such a weird topic I know.  I have memories of girlhood slumber parties and delightedly scaring each other with ouija boards, but I hasten to assure you I understand how kooky it all is.  

For a born researcher, what's missing can be just as meaningful as what's there.  And then there's what can't possibly be there....

 Whodunit, intellectual historical, Universal Studio monster movie, a tale of archaeologist adventurers.  I’m clearly not the only one longing for the genre to rise from its sarcophagus.
